BSA PAYS TRIBUTE TO FPA MANAGING DIRECTOR JONATHAN O’NEILL OBE

An inspirational leader in his determination to improve fire safety, Jonathan began his career in the insurance industry before being appointed managing director of the Fire Protection Association in 1999. He was a founder of the Fire Sector Federation in 2012 and in his role as its Policy Director, he most recently led the initiative within the Federation for a national fire strategy. In 2017, he was awarded an OBE in recognition of his long standing service to fire safety.

Iain Cox, Chair of the Business Sprinkler Alliance (BSA) said: “I worked with Jon in a variety of Fire Sector organisations. He was deeply passionate about fire safety and strived to improve it for the better of all. He will be sorely missed.”
