Building fires occur in industrial and commercial properties at an alarmingly high frequency and have an impact that goes beyond that of the owners and its immediate occupiers. There have been a large number industrial and commercial fires recorded that require the attendance of 40 firefighters or more in the last five years. Even if a business survives the incident, there will be impacts on trading, profitability and reputation, as well as negative impacts up and down its supply chain and environmental implications.
